The new iPhone
6/7/12
There's been a whole bunch of leaks popping up of the "supposed" next generation iPhone casing. If this were true, the new iPhone would sport a similar form factor of the iPhone 4/4S. Noteworthy changes are the obvious larger, elongated screen, aluminum back-plate in two anodized color-ways, smaller "micro-dock", front camera being shifted above the earpiece, headphone jack moved to the bottom, and the secondary microphone is now between the camera and flash. Now while I do see some of these changes making its way onto the next iPhone hardware, some of the choices don't really jive with me.
For instance, the back-plate is not full metal, instead opting to leave glass strips at the top and bottom. Not something I'd expect from Apple design wise, but hey, I didn't think the black antenna breaks on the leaked iPhone 4 was very Apple at the time. Now it's an iconic hall-mark of the iPhone4(S)' design. Well, I've gone ahead and rendered something that I believe will be very close to what Apple will show off this fall.
Start Up Weekend, April 2012
4/19/12
Start Up Weekend asked me to do another t-shirt for their event this past April. This shirt is a play on the Windows Phone home screen, and each tile represents the words of the title: Mega Start Up Weekend At Demo, April 2012. I also redesigned their logo above to suit the three new categories: Gaming, Mobile, and Robots.

iOS Lock Screen
3/16/12
Ever since the release of iOS 5.1, there's been something bugging me. The lock screen. Don't get me wrong, I will follow Apple's decisions to the ends of the universe. However, for some reason, the new fast camera access just didn't sit right with me. So I decided to do something about it.
KITTEH & Co.
2/16/12
I created this "cougar" character for school work. My schools mascot is a cougar, so I use him for a bunch of different projects. I don't know if he would be considered a "cougar" per-se, but whatevers. His name is KITTEH for now, or until I can think of a better name. I also included more of the monkey's I used to draw, as well as a dragon for Chinese new years.
KEITAI
12/15/11
This is my project, KEITAI. Keitai is the Japanese word for cell phone - simple. Japan is at the forefront of technology, and for good reason. Japanese people have always had the innate ability to understand what people need, and it's evident in every product they make. The Japanese aren't afraid to think outside the box, and do something people think won't work. This spirit has been baked into KEITAI.

Project OCHA
6/1/11

This is another smart-phone concept I never got around to finishing. Dubbed "Ocha", I used the name as a base for my ideas. Ocha means tea in Japanese. Calm. Pure. Serious. Read on to see the progress I've made from initial sketches to rendered product.

I wasn't digging the original, so I went back to the drawing board. This is what I have done so far. Hit the jump to see the whole thing.

Alot PSA
I did a PSA on the usage of the 2 words, a lot. I drew all the scenes in Photoshop and put it all together in iMovie.

iPhone concept
My first piece of work! This one was stuck in my head for a while. I've been obsessing over 3D rendering and conceptual design. I love my iPhone, so altering it left me at a loss for ideas. I take a lot of inspiration from Andrew Kim, (who is nothing short of brilliant) and aspire to be at his level some day. Here is my first attempt at a 3D rendering of a new iPhone concept which I did in Photoshop CS4.
